Poppy is winding down.
We launched Poppy in May with a simple belief: your phone should notice what matters and stay quiet the rest of the time. No prompts to write, no feed to check, just the right nudge at the right moment.
Since then, you let Poppy into your mornings, your calendars, your lives. You used it more than we hoped, and the "wait, how did it know that?" messages kept us going. But we've made the decision to wind Poppy down. The team is moving on to new things, and we won't be continuing development. We still believe this is how personal computing will work in the future and are grateful to be a small step along the way.
What This Means For You
Today — Poppy is no longer for sale on the App Store, and all subscriptions have been discontinued. You won't be charged again. If you have Poppy installed, it will keep working until service ends.
Refunds — Apple handles all App Store billing. If you have unused time on a subscription, annual subscribers especially, Apple will automatically issue a prorated refund for the remaining period. If yours hasn't arrived within a few weeks, you can request it at reportaproblem.apple.com.
August 31, 2026 — Service ends. The app will stop functioning, and all user data will be securely and permanently deleted from our systems, in line with our privacy policy. Nothing will be retained, transferred, or sold.
Your data — If you'd like a copy, update to the latest version of the app, then go to Profile → Export Data to download everything Poppy knows about you. Please do this before August 31. After that, there's nothing left to export.
We're proud of what we built, and grateful you let it tap you on the shoulder. Thank you.
Less phone.
