We're One Week In
Updates
Seven days after Poppy went live on the App Store in public beta, the most useful signal was not the launch coverage. It was what people started saying after using it in the real world.
What People Are Saying
The first reviews started to come in from people whose opinions on software we genuinely care about:
David Pierce, Editor at The Verge: “Easily one of the most delightful AI assistants I’ve used.”
Connor Jewiss, Partner at NRV: “Poppy is only the second time I’ve tried AI software that just works.”
Parker Ortolani, Product at Penske Media: “If you want Siri suggestions that actually work, you’ve gotta give it a try.”
What We’re Improving
A week of real-world use surfaced a lot. Bug reports, DMs, and App Store reviews all pointed toward the same next phase: less spectacle, more steady improvement.

Smarter iMessage. People are texting Poppy directly and asking it to do more than expected. We’re adding more control and clarity around texts with Poppy and the proactive messages that show up.
Calendar prep that is actually useful. Poppy is already helping people prepare and stay organized. The next step is a quick primer that appears when something lands on your calendar, so you walk into the meeting ready.
Feature Spotlight
Plans with Poppy, right inside iMessage

Making plans with friends should feel like a text, not a 14-message logistics thread. Poppy’s iMessage extension lets you give a general gist of what you’re aiming for and send it as a card to everyone in a group chat.
It uses your personal context to find and plan the right events for you. No app switching, no calendar screenshots, and no endless back-and-forth. Just plans made in the place you were already making them.
Less phone.
